The officer's quarters are a step above the crew's quarters.  Though much
roomier than the crew's quarters, there still is not much space.  There are
two sets of bunks, sleeping four officers, and a desk for the officer's use.
The bunks are twice as wide as those in the crew's quarters and have
comfortable mattresses.  Underneath each of the bottom two bunks are stowed
a pair of locked, heavy sea chests.  
     A small steel key has been left here.
     An upturned barrel supports a rickety chess board.
