Crossed swords mark the streets of Cutlass Street with gleaming silver
blades, catching any stray light beams.  This street obviously connotates
the more bloodthirsty aspects of a sailor's life.  But these swords no
longer drip blood.  They stand instead to honor all those sailors lost at
sea.  The flags fly at half-mast.
