Cold stone steps lead down to a circular room.  A dark mist suffuses the
floor, obscuring the oriental carpets and swirling slowly around a carved
granite reflecting pool set in the center.  It is filled with clear blue
water, softly rippling to the sound of a lone viola somewhere in the
background.  The spherical ceiling is covered by tiny sparkling stars,
arranged in unfamiliar constellations.  A matte silver panel is set in the
hardwood wall, one blue button curiously off-center along the bottom edge.
