You look back knowing far to well something treacherous lies ahead. But the entrance has gone! So you press on with a heavy heart weary of the impending dread. You emerge into a secluded lagoon and realize that the only dread was the weight of your own worry upon your heart. You chuckle. No follower of Vandyne is ever in over their head! You clutch the holy symbol of Vandyne, that you were awarded for besting the High Priestess. Yes her faith lapsed slipped for a split second and her demise ensued. Your grip on the symbol tightens as you recall the battle The very force of the High Priestess' tremor rattled all of Xaventry! So now, you and only you are the chosen one sent to here to assist the Great Baron Rothchild in curing the land of Beltane from it's folly! There are pirates, outlaws, corrupt officials, the Legendary Krakken poisoning the oceans, the retched Lord Maldra lies to the southeast in his banished keep and west of that is the Dungeon Deceit, where the devil himself awaits you. As you continue your laughter Celestia appears out of thin air. "No, not foolish, sane" Celestia says. "You are a mere mortal, and are bound by mortal thoughts and weaknesses." Yet again you clutch your holy symbol and say "yes, Celestia as always you are correct, I must remember my teachings and never doubt in my faith.
