You are in the lobby of the welcome center, a rather plain room with a
few benches along the walls.  To the west is a doorway leading outside to a
local village.  Upstairs are the training and information rooms, where you
can learn more about this mysterious new world waiting for you to explore. 
The door leading outside may be closed.  If it is, you should type "open
door" or "open west", so that you can leave.
