You are walking along a dusty path that has just turned to the west.  The
creek you heard is now directly in front of you.  There are several large
stones in the water forming a crude bridge on which to cross.  You see
numerous patches of moss growing on the stones.  Better watch your step, or
you may be taking an unscheduled bath!  The entrance to the village is on
the other side of the creek.  
     There is a pool of sparkling clear water here.
