This is the village hall of training.  Unlike the other buildings, this
one is made of stone.  Inside, the walls and floor are covered with thick
pads to prevent those receiving physical training from being injured.  The
stone of the building is to prevent the building from being demolished by
those who are training in the magical arts.  There is a woman of middle
years here who will train you in the disciplines of magic.  
Valys says, 'Be welcome, youngling. I am Valys, the trainer for the mystical arts for this village. You may practice your spells and mystical skills here, or go east for combat training with my associate.'
