You are negotiating a circular stairwell.  The steps feel like wood, but
it is rather dim down here and difficult to be sure.  The walls are bare
dirt and are cool to the touch.  There is no railing on the stairs, so you
must keep a hand on the wall to avoid losing your balance and falling.  The
scent of fresh blood is growing stronger.  It is coming from the south,
where you see a closed door.  
A fey thief is lurking in the shadows here.
