You have stepped into a tiny alcove.  Fortunately, there is sufficient
lichen growing on the walls for you to see.  There is a chest sitting on the
floor here.  You wonder what it might contain, or if it even contains
anything.  There is also a tiny cupboard on one wall.  It isn't large enough
to hold very much.  Perhaps you should open both of them to see what they
contain.
