No wonder the air has been so cold.  The floor and walls here are almost
covered in ice!  The lichen is unable to grow here, but there is enough in
the rooms to either side for the glow to be reflected off the ice,
permitting you to see.  As you look up toward the high ceiling of this
cavern, you can see where the water is coming in through a crack near the
top.  The temperature is just low enough to allow the water to freeze.  The
cavern runs east and west.  Watch your step as you move.  The ice could
cause you to take a nasty fall.
