You are in a rough-walled passageway in the Ghering Caverns.  The floor
here is a light-gray stone.  The walls are a combination of earth and stone.
You can hear the scurrying of feet, but you can't determine the direction it
is coming from because of the muffling effect of the stone.  When you hold
your torch close to the lower walls and floor, you see claw marks.  The
thought of the claws that made those marks sends shivers up your spine.  To
the east is a dark room, while to the north is a room with a normal light
level.
