This is a dark passage in the Ghering Caverns.  The only light is
provided by your flickering torch.  The walls and floors are composed of
earth and stone, with some loose rock scattered here and there on the floor.
The air here is a bit moist, but you see no signs of water.  Also, there is
a slightly unpleasant smell here.  You think you recognize the smell
assaulting your nostrils as blood.  The caverns rune east, west and north. 
The odor you detect seems to be coming from the north.  
A violet mist floats along in search of food.
