This is a dark passage in the Ghering Caverns.  The only light is
provided by your flickering torch.  The walls and floors are composed of
earth and stone, with some loose rock scattered here and there on the floor.
The air here is a bit moist, but you see no signs of water.  Also, there is
an almost overpowering odor of fresh blood in the air.  You think that the
smell assaulting your nostrils is coming from close by.  The passage runs
north and south from here.
