This is the office of Irvin, the village headmaster.  It is plainly
furnished with a desk and several wooden chairs.  A sign on the wall says
that he will mediate any disputes between villagers, arrange property
transactions, and assign quests to adventurers.  Perhaps you should find him
and ask him about a quest.  It could be helpful to you.  There is a door in
the north wall and windows in the south and east walls.
