Here in the middle of the yard, the grass is a little shorter than the
rest of the yard due to the animals constantly trampling on it.  To the
northwest is the chicken coop and to the northeast is the small barn, which
is where all the hay is stored.  To the south a huge pile of wood can be
seen.  The yard extends to the north and east.  
A plump chicken clucks lightly as it pecks at the ground for food.
