This dusty road is rutted and worn from constant usage by pedestrians and
the rolling press of wagon wheels.  A yellowing strip of grass lines the
center, adding a splash of color to an otherwise dreary brown.  There are
seldom more than one or two people about.  Most of the noise in the area
seems to consist of dogs barking and random shouted conversations.  To the
east rises the hastily constructed, and rather meager outer wall.
