This dusty rroad that you travel upon is rutted and worn from a
repetition of footfalls and the rolling press of wagon wheels.  A yellowing
strip of grass lines the center, adding a splash of color to an otherwise
dreary brown.  There are seldom more than one or two people about.  Most of
the noise in the area seems to consist of dogs barking and random shouted
conversations.  A shabby tavern stands to the east of you.  A small side
street branches off to the west.
