One of the two luxury rooms available, guests staying here are outfitted
with a large featherbed, several pillows and the finest linens.  Although
the gold and velvet color scheme leaves much to be desired, everything in
this room is the best that gold can buy.  A full-length mirror hangs upon
the wall, and across from it sits a stout oaken desk with oil lamp.  Sconces
upon the wall are available for even more light, and a small shelf holds
some of the innkeeper's favorite books for guests to read
