The white picket fence to the west and south divides the modest field
into four smaller squares, each growing its own different crop.  A winding
dirt road picks its way through each, providing access for farmers, and a
route for collecting carts to be pulled through.  Baskets have been placed
below each apple tree, waiting for the pickers to place picked apples into
them.  Off to the west is a crop of corn, and to the south is a small
plantation of cotton.
