The woods grow more and more dense, in the eastern direction.  Although
sparse and pleasant at the western edge, here the forest becomes
nigh-impassable, but for the two structures raised between the claustrophic
tangle of branches, vines and shrubs.  Even the well-paved road has cracks
in it, with shoots and blades of grass peeking through the blackness.
