Merchant's alley is the one alley in all of Teolaven, and it's not even a
true alley at that.  More of a lane, it is called its misnomer due to the
mistrust of the merchants by the locals.  Tightknit and insular, they are
dubious of the foreigners' means and practices, even while welcoming others,
all of whose minds they can read.  Their bigotry is disheartening, but their
love of equality is less strong than their hatred of capitalism.
