Wide streets have been fashioned from fine cobblestone, tightly packed
together with a gritty sand and almost completely leveled off.  There are
sidewalks on either side which is composed of similar materials only
slightly raised to make distinction from the horse trodden road.  You can
occasionally hear the sounds of boats off in the distance and the chanting
of the ship's captain announcing its arrival.
