A taste of salt can be sensed in the air from the nearby ocean on the
gentle breeze that winds through the tall trees provide shade for those
visitors and residents walking along this cobblestone lane.  Wide streets
have been fashioned from fine cobblestone that is tightly packed together
with a gritty sand used to fill the gaps to create a level roadway.  There
are sidewalks on either side which is composed of similar materials only
slightly raised to make distinction from the horse trodden road.
