and bends prevent you from seeing a clear path out.  The wind blowing past
your ears creates a terrifying howl, foretelling of grave danger ahead. 
There seems to be a slight opening in the shrubs to the north.  
     A sun-bleached skeleton lays among the weeds.
A thorny, red-veined vine twines its way around your feet.
