Looking down on the hotel's lobby you can see the grandfather clock
against the north wall, its eternal ticking echoing through the air.  A
ballistrade runs around this large balcony, with rooms running off either
side.  The plush carpet crumples underneath your feet, but springs back into
life in your wake.  Occasionally, you can hear the clanging of the front
gate, and you wonder how you will leave this strange place.
