As with all good hotels, there must be recreation and social areas for
the guests, and this large area appears to be used for just that.  Lounge
chairs and sofas line the walls, cornered off occasionally to make a private
sitting area for two, On the walls hang dark paintings of the volcano, lava
bursting forth and engulfing a small village.
