Spiderwebs hanging in the doorway brush against your face as you enter
the room.  
Spiderwebs festoon the shadowy corners and hang gauzily from the dark
blocks of the ceiling.  Sinister chains are bolted to the walls and
terrifying instruments of torture and pain are scattered about to be used at
will.  A massive black onyx altar dominates the eastern wall of the room
with monstrous iron candlesticks flanking it.  Fat red pillar candles burn
with a sanguine effect providing little light to penetrate the gloomy,
morbid atmosphere.  A fountain of blood bubbles down the wall behind the
altar.  Dead flowers hang in black vases on the walls.  The smell of death
and decay permeates the entire chamber, creating an eerie, spine-tingling
effect.  
     A massive onyx altar stands flanked by huge candlesticks.
