Propitiously cool, this vegetable garden is also fairly small, suggesting
local consumption of the carrots, broccoli and lettuce.  A neat limestone
walkway winds north from the white gate to the south, with a smaller
extension connecting the walkway to a door on the side of the house to the
east.  Some fruit trees provide ample shade for thoughtful meandering or
even idle vegetation.
