Part office, part armory, this study parallels the professional dichotomy
of the farmer's life.  Displayed on the walls are a series of weapons, all
retired but each in battle-ready condition.  His desk sits flush against the
southern wall, which houses a curtained window overlooking a strand of
Gilvery's single road.  Doubling as a table of sorts and standing one rod in
height is a marble chest fixed to the ground in the center of the room.  
     Flush against the southern wall is the farmer's desk.
