Braving forward through the darkness, you appear to hit a dead end and
stop yourself just in time before you hit the solid wall.  As you turn back
in fear of being trapped, you find that the passage west is still open. 
Relieved, you decided to take one last look at the room before you leave. 
From the corner of your eye, you notice a slight protrusion near the
southwest.  Looking more closely, you discover that the bricks are red
instead of yellow.  Maybe it is just your imagination.
