Weary figures trudge along this road, faces as bleak as the environment
around them.  The air is thick with the stench of explosives and
perspiration, smells which cling to the miner's clothes and drift up from
the open mines dotted around the area.  A new brick building sits at the end
of this path, it looks to be the sleeping quarters for most of the towne's
population.  
     The corpse of a mangy moose is lying here.
     The corpse of an exhausted minotaur miner is lying here.
An exhausted miner shuffles past you.
A thorny, red-veined vine twines its way around your feet.
