The hallway continues north but also curiously turns to the west.  For
some unknown reason, you feel that going west might be the biggest mistake
of your life.  It is so cold down that passage that it can hardly be
tolerated.  The moisture has completely frozen into ice and makes the black
stone walls glisten brightly.  You begin to shiver just thinking about what
lies down there.  The wailing noise is also a bit louder down to the west.
