An enormous pile of old, burnt wood towers to the south.  The path to the
east and west is lined with fine red gravel.  The rugged Auryn landscape
opens to the north, just past the town gate.  The distinct aroma of a
recently extinguished fire, not unlike that of a fireplace, lingers heavily
in the still air.  The area is mostly barren, aside from some small green
buds which grow out from under pieces of timber scattered along the ground.
