The rocky road encircling the south end of Palamire comes to an end here.
Small plants and weeds poke up through the rocky soil, which consists of a
scattering of red pebbles over a black pitch soil ground underneath.  In
some places, tiny fragments of rotting wood poke out from beneath the earthy
floor.  To the south, a small shanty rises up from the earthy surroundings. 
A village settler wanders the streets of Palamire.
