A vast white sheet dangles from the ceiling and wraps its way down most
of the southern wall, draping to the floor.  An artist's easel stands in the
opposite corner, prepared to capture the visages of the Winterborn family,
or anyone else that might be sitting.  All around the room, small paintings
are tucked into ornate frames, but for the most part, the images have all
been burnt away by decades of sun damage.
