The waterwheel of the grinding house of Chanctonbury protrudes from the
water here, and you do your best to try and grab the wells on the wheel.... 
Sucess!  Unfortunatly, the wheel is not moving, or it would lift you to
safety!  After a minute or two, the realization that you are getting nowhere
just hanging there settles in, and you tenatively release the wheel,
swooshing down into the current.  Then as you looks back, a great mechanical
groan emenates from the wheel, and it begins to turn, as someone is using it
to ground meal in the wheelhouse...  You slap yourself on the head for
letting go of the wheel, and continue down the river.
