Thank God!  You made it through the river alive!  You hack up enough
water to fill a small barrel as soon as you flop up on the beach, and you
savor the breaths of air you pull in, because it is so much easier to
breathe than water.  You lie among the grass for a moment or two, then are
abrupty jolted back into the real world by the noise of an orcish millitary
unit marching...  You still have to get out of this hellish wood.
