The water of the lake meets the shore here.  The shallow water allows
ogres to come here without fear of being hit by the whompfish.  Of course
the whompfish can still reach this part of the shore but atleast he can be
seen approaching with his long tenticles.  The soft ground and calm washing
of waves on the beach almost makes you forget that the water is quite
acidic.
