A lonely pine tree stands tall in the middle of the area.  The bottom
half or so stripped of all branches and bark by ogres passing by finding it
a good place to scratch their backs.  The ground is hard packed dirt with a
scattering of pine needles and bits of wood with a few spots where new
plants can come through.
