The Outer Edges of the Ogre Village                    NW     N     NE

The larger portion of the village lies to the west but you find yourself
between two large ogre huts.  The ground is packed with bits of gravel and
dirt with little vegetation other than bits of grass along the walls of the
huts.  The ground trembles a little with rumbling in the distance to the
west, perhaps two ogres wrestling about.  
A tubby ogre with broad, elephantine ears stands here, grinning at you.
