Tall pines and a small variety of other types of trees flourish in the
forest.  The ground is rich with minerals but small trails where ogres walk
through make the ground hard packed, making it difficult for growth. 
Several mushrooms grow along side some of the trees and ogres love mushrooms
so the area is much visited.
