Brambles and large thorns prevent further progress in to the forest,
the trees and bushes are unforgiving.  The ogres however are quite strong
willed and with years of experience and generations of thick skin allows the
ogres from the village to pass relatively freely.  It's extremely dark and
the ground outlines large foot prints in hard packed dirt which only
emphasizes the power and size of the ogres.
