While you were forced to crawl to get through the hole to the south, the
tunnel you are now standing in is high enough for you to stand up.  Whoever
(or whatever) created the passage must have been quite large indeed.  You
can see a faint red glow of some kind coming from the end of the tunnel to
the north.
