Copper Circle lies at the very end of Gold Drive, where the golden
pathway flakes off and dulls out.  It is not to say that this Circle is by
any means destitute or lower in status - indeed, only the most prestigious
can afford a small house here in the first and most ancient of the southern
district's plots.  Here there is no frivolous display of prizes or material
possession, but a deep solemness and understanding.  There are occasional
alien trees and flora at the side of the path interspersed between the
majestic houses, each a unique and skilled product of the first artisans who
practiced their trade here in the darkness of the underground.  Slightly
pitted and scarred, the original signposts still hold their original Ogrish
numbers - thankfully, small translations have been provided beneath - #38 to
the east, #40 to the southeast and #42 to the south.
