The muddy ground is a mosaic of footprints of all shapes and sizes.  The
area has been tramped so extensively that grass doesn't grow here.  Muddy
paths lead off in every direction to large stalls in which merchants peddle
their items.  Colorful banners and flags fly from the stalls to attract
customers.  A thick path leads southeast out of the clearing.
