The walls are rough and uneven gray limestone.  Stumps of stalactites
hang from the ceiling, slowly budding over millenia.  The air is dry, dusty
particles kicked up from travelers' movements.  The passage turns slowly
such that one end of the passage isn't visible from the other, due to the
angle.  
A small golden creature scampers around the ground.
