When you enter this cavern, you can sense a profound change in reality
forming all around you.  The walls of the room are quickly fading away,
being replaced by an endless, featureless expanse of flat land.  You wonder
if you've accidentially stumbled into the astral plane somehow, and wonder
if there is any way out...
