To the east you see a small mound that rises up creating the top of the
amphitheater on the other side.  The path is walked down and dusty from the
many feet that trample over the mound to the seating on the other side. 
West will return you back into the park, where there is a sign posted with
directions though the park.  The quietness is broken with an eruption of
laugher from the theater, you must have missed the start of another play.
