The low sides of the bridge do little to block the salty tang of the
ocean breeze, and you hear the cries of gulls from the port area of the
village to your north and west.  Oddly, the western side of the guardwall
appears to have been damaged, and rough wooden splinters surround a hole
several feet in diameter.  
     A stack of crates, rope, and other ship-related items are piled in a corner here.
