The wide boardwalk continues east and west leading to the center of the
village and back towards the docks.  One section of the northern guardrail
looks much newer than the sections around it, perhaps a sign of recent
replacement.  Close to this spot, several odd, rust colored stains, that
seem quite out of place, mar the wooden planks of the walkway.
